 from the old East German (DDR) bloodlines

 All of our breedings are from strong working bloodlines. We expect superior temperament with a correct balance of drives. These dogs will be prime candidates for police service, schutzhund, search and rescue, agility competition, family and property protection as well as making good family pets.

As you can see from the photos and the structure ratings, we have also paid attention to the conformation.

These puppies will be black sables with mahogany red highlights. They will have exceptional dark pigmentation, with strong bone structure and massive heads. They are bred to work and serve.

Our puppies are raised in a natural environment, not a kennel, and have exposure to both parents. We do temperament testing between 4 and 8 weeks of age. We do imprinting and pre training for prey, defense and scenting ability - doing "natural" tracking for their food.

When you buy a puppy from us you will receive a written guarantee for hips, health and soundness: a four generation pedigree, registration papers, veterinary state health certificate and feeding instructions. You will also receive a book written by Steve Lino - "Puppy to Adult the Easy Way" - that will cover understanding the drives, raising, pre training, imprinting, socialization, housebreaking and tracking. This book is based upon motivational training using the dog's "natural drives" (positive reinforcement). This early work is for puppies up to 6 or 7 months of age.

When you buy one of our quality puppies, we remain available to you to answer questions on raising, training and diet. When you have questions, please call us. This is not a bother to us. Being a guardian for this beloved breed is a big part of our lives.
